Coat of arms of Peru The coat of arms is composed of three sectors separated by a horizontal line in the center and another perpendicular to the first one. The lower part, Gules, contains a golden cornucopia pouring coins signifying the mineral kingdom of the country. The left part is azure (sky blue) and shows a vicuna, symbol of the animal kingdom. In the upper right part, silver, we can see a tree of the Cinchona genus (cinchona) symbolizing the vegetable kingdom.
