Obverse description	Intaglio portrait of Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini occupies the right portion of the note against a fine guilloche underprint incorporating a large geometric Islamic star medallion in gold and green tones. The denomination in Eastern Arabic numerals appears at upper left and lower right, with the bank title inscription running along the upper register. Two facsimile signatures appear in the lower centre, with Braille dots and a security strip visible along the left margin.

Reverse description	Central vignette of the Tomb of Saadi (Aramgah-e Sa'di) in Shiraz, rendered against a decorative guilloche background. A verse from the Persian poet Saadi — "Human beings are members of a whole, in creation of one essence and soul" — is inscribed on the note. The denomination numeral 100 000 appears in the corners with the issuing authority name in Latin script along the upper border.
