| Obverse description | Plain cream paper note with a typeset letterpress design enclosed within a decorative border of repeating ornamental units. The denomination "100000 Mark" is set in bold black Fraktur type at the top centre, followed by the guarantee clause "Gut für Einhunderttausend Mark" in large Gothic script with flanking foliate vignettes. Below, the place and date of issue "Burscheid, August 1923" appear in Fraktur, with the instruction "(Firmenstempel und Unterschrift.)" printed to the right.
