| Obverse description | Printed in reddish-brown on cream paper, the obverse carries a central industrial vignette of the August Thyssen steelworks interior, with workers and machinery rendered in an engraved style across the full width of the note. At centre, an ornate cartouche bears the interlaced 'AT' monogram of August Thyssen-Hütte within a decorative wreath surround.
