| Obverse description | Cream-toned note with an overall guilloche underprint of interlocking floral rosette lattice in grey-green. The denomination '100 000' is set in large bold Fraktur numerals at centre, surmounted by the heading 'Gutschein der Stadt Reutlingen' and underscored by the spelled-out legend 'Hunderttausend Mark' in ornate Gothic script. Two circular red municipal seal stamps of the Stadtgemeinde Reutlingen, each bearing a crowned eagle vignette, flank the redemption clause and the issuance date 'Reutlingen, den 11. August 1923', with signature lines for the Oberbürgermeister and Stadtpfleger at lower left and right respectively, and a red typeset serial number at bottom centre. |
