| Obverse description | Printed in green on cream paper, the obverse is set within a plain ruled border and carries the denomination 'Hundert-Tausend Mark' in large blackletter script across the upper half. Symmetrical vignettes at left and right each show an inverted triangle enclosing crossed mining hammers, emblematic of the Ruhr industrial region. A central text panel gives the conditions of acceptance and validity, dated 'Oberhausen-Rhld., den 19. Juli 1923', below which appears the facsimile signature of the Oberbürgermeister; the serial number is printed vertically at the left margin. |
