The reverse of the banknote is primarily sea-themed, highlighting Lebanon`s history and natural beauty: - `100 ANS` in the upper right, acknowledging the 100th year anniversary of the founding of the State of Greater Lebanon. - The Arches of Pigeon Rocks in Beirut, depicted against a cloudy sky. - A Phoenician merchant ship, taken from ancient reliefs.
