| Obverse description | Plain cream paper ground with a green horizontal-line underprint across the upper register, within which the large numeral "100 000 000" is printed in bold black Gothic type. The denomination in words, "Einhundert Millionen Mark", appears in a second bold Gothic band below, flanked by double rule borders. The lower portion carries the date "Weimar, den 9. August 1923" above the issuing authority legend "Die Landesregierung", with two manuscript facsimile signatures of Thuringian state officials, and the Thuringian heraldic shield vignette — a white escutcheon charged with six-pointed stars — at lower left. A background underprint of repeating "0"-numeral micropattern fills the lower field. |
