| Obverse description | The obverse is printed in black and red on cream paper, with the large numeral denomination '100 000 000' set within a bold red horizontal striped band at the top, followed by the value in Fraktur script 'Einhundert Millionen Mark' beneath a pair of black rules. The lower half carries an underprint of repeating red numerals '100000000' arranged in a dense guilloche-like pattern, over which the issue place and date 'Weimar, den 9. August 1923' and the issuing authority 'Die Landesregierung' are printed in black Fraktur lettering. To the lower left, the arms of Thuringia appear as a black heraldic shield vignette, accompanied by two manuscript signatures of authorizing officials. |
