| Obverse description | The obverse is printed in olive-green and brown tones on plain paper. At centre-left, a large diamond-shaped panel carries the promise-to-pay text in Gothic blackletter script, with the denomination 'Hundert Millionen Mark' in bold display lettering; a serial number in green appears at upper right and a circular guilloche vignette with a stylised chalice device occupies the lower-left corner.
