| Obverse description | The face is dominated by a large bold serif letterpress denomination reading '100 MILLIONEN MARK' across the upper two-thirds, flanked on each side by a circular underprint vignette bearing a coat of arms. Below, a text block in smaller type states the issuing authority — the Stadt- und Landkreis Hörde treasuries — and the issue date of 20 September 1923.
