Reverse description The reverse of the underlying 5,000,000 drachmai note, inverted in orientation, carries a bold red overprint applied by the Oikonomiki Epitropi Naupliou (Economic Committee of Nauplia) revalidating the note at 100,000,000 drachmai as of 19 September 1944. The overprint text in Greek script spans the centre of the note, accompanied by committee stamps and manuscript signatures within the overprint area. The original base design with its large denomination numeral remains visible beneath the overprint in mirror orientation.
