Obverse description The obverse features a stylized large quill feather rendered in fine parallel lines, dominating the central field as an artistic symbol of literary creation. The denomination '10 ZŁ' appears to the left of the quill's spine, while the Polish eagle — the national coat of arms — is shown in relief at the lower left. The circular legend 'RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA 2014' runs along the upper periphery in Latin script. The overall design by Anna Wątróbska-Wdowiarska employs a modern, graphic aesthetic with strong contrast between the detailed feather motif and the smooth surrounding field. The mint mark 'MW' appears in the lower field.
