| Obverse description | A dynamic depiction of a hammer thrower in mid-release occupies the lower right portion of the field, rendered in high relief against a stylized circular arc suggestive of the throwing sector. A scattering of stars in the upper left field evokes the night sky, with a small sphere representing the hammer at the apex of its trajectory. The Polish eagle, uncrowned and displayed, appears to the right in the mid-field. The curved legend RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA runs along the upper rim, while the denomination 10 ZŁ and the date 2016 appear in the lower right field. The mint mark MW is incorporated discreetly into the design. |
