Obverse description The Polish state eagle displayed in high relief occupies the central field, rendered without a crown in the People's Republic style, with wings spread and head turned to dexter. The date 1965 is divided by the eagle's talons, with '19' to the left and '65' to the right, and the mint mark 'MW' appears beneath the eagle. The circular legend 'POLSKA RZECZPOSPOLITA LUDOWA' arcs around the upper periphery in raised Latin letters. The denomination '10 ZŁ' flanked by bullet separators appears at the base of the design in bold numerals.
