Obverse description The obverse features the Polish State emblem — a crowned white eagle — displayed prominently in the upper central field against a geometric diagonal background that divides the field into contrasting polished and matte sections. In the lower portion, a dynamic scene depicts a horse-drawn carriage in full gallop, rendered in high relief and evoking the whimsical, fantastical imagery characteristic of Gałczyński's poetry. The legend RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA arcs along the upper left rim, with the date 2005 inscribed to the right, and the denomination 10 ZŁ appears at the bottom of the field.

Reverse description The reverse is divided diagonally into two contrasting halves: the left half bears a color-applied green depiction of a small fantastical bird — a reference to the poet's beloved 'Zielona Gęś' (Green Goose) satirical theatre — while the right half presents a sculptural bust of the Polish poet Konstanty Ildefons Gałczyński, shown wearing a top hat and a draped cloak, seated and holding papers, rendered in detailed relief. The poet's full name KONSTANTY ILDEFONS GAŁCZYŃSKI is inscribed along the upper rim, with his birth and death years 1905 and 1953 positioned to the lower right of the portrait.
