Obverse description Central device features the crowned Polish eagle displayed with wings spread, rendered in a stylised heraldic manner with a finely detailed feathered body and crossed talons below. The eagle faces dexter and is unshielded, consistent with the People's Republic of Poland coat of arms without the royal crown's inner detail. The word PRÓBA appears in small letters beneath the eagle in the lower field, denoting trial-strike status. The circular legend reads POLSKA RZECZPOSPOLITA LUDOWA around the upper periphery, with the denomination 10 DZIESIĘĆ ZŁOTYCH 10 continuing along the lower arc, all in bold Latin lettering. The coin exhibits a reeded edge and a well-struck, lightly frosted field typical of Polish State Mint proof-quality patterns.
