| Obverse description | Within a raised circular medallion set upon a square klippe flan oriented as a diamond, the bold left-facing bust of Marshal Józef Piłsudski rendered in high relief, depicting him in military uniform with characteristic mustache. The klippe border is elaborately decorated with a hatched basketweave pattern framed by multiple recessed lines, with crossed marshal's batons or sabres appearing at each of the four corners of the diamond. The overall composition reflects the monumental, medal-like artistic style characteristic of the interwar Polish commemorative series. |
