Reverse description Heart-shaped flan with a central design depicting a stylized tree whose branches terminate in multiple heart-shaped forms, symbolizing generosity and charitable giving, growing from the neck of an electric guitar rendered in high relief at lower center. The numeral '20' appears to the left of the tree trunk and the word 'Lat' (meaning 'Years') to the right, commemorating the twentieth anniversary of the foundation. The circumferential legend 'WIELKA ORKIESTRA ŚWIĄTECZNEJ POMOCY' arcs around the border in Latin characters against a mirror-polished field.

Additional information

The Wielka Orkiestra Świątecznej Pomocy — known internationally as the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity — was founded by Jerzy Owsiak in 1993 and has since become Poland's largest annual fundraising event, collecting hundreds of millions of złoty for pediatric medical equipment. The NBP has issued commemorative coinage tied to the foundation on multiple occasions, reflecting its unusual status as a private charity with near-institutional cultural weight in Polish public life.

The 2012 issue coincided with the foundation's 20th anniversary fundraising finale.
