Obverse description The obverse features a dynamic allegorical composition set against a mirror-polished field. At centre, a stylised Polish eagle with spread wings clutches a laurel wreath in its talons, rendered in high relief. To the left, a deployed parachute descends against a billowing smoke cloud, while a military transport aircraft is depicted in silhouette to the upper right. The crowned Polish state eagle appears in the right field alongside the denomination 'ZŁ 10'. The circular legend 'RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA' runs along the lower periphery, with the date '2004' inscribed to the right.

Reverse description The reverse presents a detailed portrait bust of Brigadier General Stanisław F. Sosabowski in three-quarter view facing right, depicted in military uniform with medal ribbons visible on his chest and a peaked officer's cap. To the left of the portrait, a dynamic scene depicts a paratrooper descending on a parachute beneath a military transport aircraft shown releasing further paratroopers, evoking the airborne operations of World War II. The engraver's initials 'RK' appear discreetly at lower left. Below the design, the legend reads 'GEN. BRYG. STANISŁAW F. SOSABOWSKI' with the life dates '1892–1967' incorporated into the composition.
