Obverse description Central device features the Polish national emblem: a crowned white eagle displayed within a shield, wings outstretched, rendered in high relief against a plain field. The date 1971 is incuse to the left and right of the shield's base, flanked by the mint mark. The denomination 10 appears in bold numerals directly below the shield. The circular legend POLSKA RZECZPOSPOLITA LUDOWA runs along the upper periphery, interrupted by a central dot motif, with additional dots separating legend elements.
