| Obverse description | The Polish White Eagle (national coat of arms), depicted with wings spread upward and talons resting on a decorative shield, occupies the centre of the field in bold relief. The eagle is rendered without a crown, in the style adopted by the Polish People's Republic. The circular legend POLSKA RZECZPOSPOLITA LUDOWA (Polish People's Republic) runs along the left and right rims, while the date 1968 appears in the lower field beneath the shield. The mint mark MW is incused near the base of the design. |
