A flowering branch with blossoms and leaves extends across the upper field, while a classical Chinese hanging lantern is suspended at the right. The Heavenly Stems and Earthly Branches cyclical year designation '癸卯' appears in Chinese characters to the right of the lantern in the field. A beaded inner border separates the centre from the plain brass outer ring. |
