| Obverse description | Central field features a finely detailed view of the Fenghuang Tower (Phoenix Tower) of the Shenyang Imperial Palace (Mukden Palace), rendered in high relief with elaborate multi-tiered traditional Chinese palatial architecture, flanking trees, a ceremonial staircase, and decorative stone balustrades. The legend 中华人民共和国 (People's Republic of China) arcs along the upper rim in Chinese characters. Below the architectural motif, the inscription 沈阳故宫凤凰楼 (Fenghuang Tower, Shenyang Imperial Palace) and the date 1994 appear in the lower field. |
