Reverse description The reverse presents a vibrant colour-printed scene in the style of traditional Chinese New Year folk art, depicting three children in festive attire celebrating the Spring Festival. The central child holds aloft a red lantern inscribed with the character 春 (Spring), a second child kneels lighting a firecracker, and a third dances joyfully at right. A flowering prunus tree on a decorative stand and two swallows in flight are visible in the upper left field. The denomination 10元 is inscribed in the upper right field, and the Chinese legend 迎春图 (Picture of Welcoming Spring) appears along the lower rim.
