| Reverse description | Full-length depiction of the celebrated strategist Zhuge Liang seated upon a wheeled cart (wooden ox), rendered in high-relief sculptural style. He is shown in flowing robes holding a large feathered fan, his contemplative gaze directed to one side, with stylized rocky mountains and cloud motifs in the background and decorative foliage at the base of the composition. A wooden box adorned with a yin-yang (太極) symbol is mounted at the front of the cart. To the left of the figure, the name 诸葛亮 is inscribed in Chinese characters, while the denomination 10元 appears to the right in the field. |
