| Obverse description | Red letterpress print on cream paper. Central vignette of a mountainous landscape with a pine tree in the foreground, a stream, and figures with cattle at the base of the mountain. Two ornate cartouches at left and right each bear the denomination 拾圓 (Ten Yuan), with the bank title 北海銀行 across the top and the inscription 中華民國三十四年印 (Printed in the 34th year of the Republic of China) along the lower margin. The characters 勸海 appear vertically on both lateral borders, with 拾 at each corner. |
