| Obverse description | Blue-grey intaglio print with a central oval guilloche cartouche bearing the denomination 拾圓 (Ten Yuan) in Chinese characters. To the right, a vignette illustrates a rural scene with traditional architecture and agricultural activity. The upper centre carries the bank name 浙東銀行 (Bank of Eastern Chekiang) in Chinese, flanked by serial numbers in red at upper left and right. Two red seal impressions appear at lower centre alongside a panel reading 浙東地方本位幣 (Eastern Chekiang Local Currency) and the imprint 中華民國二十四年印 (Printed in the 24th year of the Republic of China). |
