| Obverse description | Central design features a stylized map of China overlaid with the hammer and sickle emblem of the Chinese Communist Party, rendered in high relief against a mirror-like field. A bold five-pointed star appears at the upper left of the central motif. Surrounding the map are inscribed labels identifying key Soviet base areas of the Long March era, including 陕甘宁苏区, 川陕苏区, 鄂豫皖苏区, 湘鄂川黔苏区, and 中央苏区.
