Obverse description Central round perforation surrounded by a symmetrical floral spray comprising two large blossoming flowers with detailed petals and foliage extending laterally across the field. The Kanji character 十 (ten) is placed above the central hole at the top of the design, and the Kanji character 円 (yen) appears below, flanking the perforation. The overall composition is rendered in bold, high-relief style with finely detailed botanical elements filling the field between the rim and the central hole.
