Obverse description	The obverse presents a central vignette of a Japanese shrine or memorial gate set within a landscaped garden, framed by an intricate guilloche border with scrollwork at the corners. To the right, the Bank of Taiwan seal in red is set within a floral underprint alongside vertical Chinese characters giving the bank name and denomination. Reverse description	The reverse centres on a vignette of a coastal landscape with a lighthouse on a distant promontory beneath a clouded sky, rendered in fine intaglio line engraving. A large dark guilloche medallion to the right carries the denomination characters 拾圓, while the denomination numeral 10 appears at each upper corner within circular cartouches. The border consists of a scalloped guilloche frame in olive-brown tones, with the legend 10 YEN in bold roman type along the lower margin.
