The denomination numerals '10' appear in the upper left and right corners flanking a small heraldic lion vignette at centre top. The bank name 'Die Weimarische Bank' is printed in large Gothic type, with the written denomination 'Zehn Thaler' below in prominent script lettering, followed by the place and date 'Weimar, den 4. Februar 1854'.
