De La Rue Garny was the Frankfurt-based security printing subsidiary responsible for producing Deutsche Mark banknotes for the Bundesbank during much of the postwar period. Test notes from this firm were internal production samples used to evaluate paper stock, ink consistency, and print registration — never assigned denominations for circulation and never intended to leave the facility.

Most were destroyed. Survivors entered the collector market through decommissioned press runs or employee retention, neither of which the firm encouraged.
