| Obverse description | The National Coat of Arms of Kazakhstan occupies the central field, depicting a shanyrak (the upper dome of a yurt) with sun rays radiating outward, flanked by two mythical winged horses (tulpars) and surmounted by a five-pointed star. The inscription КАЗАКСТАН appears on the shield at the base of the arms. The circular legend reading ҚАЗАҚСТАН • ТЕҢГЕ • ҰЛТТЫҚ БАНҚІ runs along the rim, separated by dot stops, with the mint mark ҚҰБ positioned to the right.
