Comments

Bangladesh Bank introduced this series during a period of significant political instability — the military-backed caretaker government that took power in January 2007 oversaw much of the note's active circulation period. The 10 Taka denomination has historically been one of the most actively circulated values in the Bangladeshi system, meaning heavily worn survivors are common but genuinely clean examples from this short window are not.

P#39A's watermark is the sole mechanical security feature, a notably sparse specification for a mid-2000s issue from a country that was simultaneously upgrading higher denominations with more sophisticated protection.
