Obverse description At right, a vignette of the Star Mosque (Tara Masjid) in Armanitola, Dhaka, rendered in fine intaglio detail, displaying the structure's distinctive white marble domes adorned with Chinitikri-style blue star mosaics and ornate floral rosette patterns on the façade. The mosque, built in the first half of the 19th century by Mirza Golam Pir, is presented against a guilloche underprint typical of De La Rue security printing. Bengali and English inscriptions identifying the issuing authority appear alongside the central design.

Reverse description The reverse carries a pastoral agricultural vignette illustrating a paddy field harvest scene, with farmers engaged in cutting, binding, and carrying rice sheaves, rendered in a style evoking the rural economy of Bangladesh. The composition spans the width of the note with fine line engraving work characteristic of De La Rue production. The issuing authority legend and denomination appear in both Bengali and English.
