| Obverse description | Three female busts depicted in left-facing profile, arranged in overlapping succession to convey depth, each coiffed in traditional Vietnamese style with hair pinned or gathered at the nape. The rightmost figure wears a small ornamental hair accessory and a delicate necklace. The legend QUỐC-GIA VIỆT-NAM arcs along the upper rim within a serrated border, and the date 1953 appears in the lower exergual area flanked by small decorative devices. The design, engraved by Lucien Georges Bazor, is rendered in fine medallic relief. |
