| Obverse description | Flat, roughly cut square tin planchet bearing the coat of arms of Woerden flanked by the divided denomination numeral 10, with the applied countermark A13.1 consisting of the coat of arms of Holland struck into the field. The encircling legend reads PRO ARIS ET FOCI (For altars and hearths), a patriotic motto reflecting the town's resistance during the siege. The design is characteristically crude in execution, consistent with the exigencies of wartime emergency coinage produced under siege conditions. |
