| Obverse description | Central field features a snow lion passant to the right, rendered in high relief with detailed mane and tail, set within a circular medallion. Surrounding the lion is an ornate decorative border composed of scrolling cloud and floral motifs. An outer ring of beading frames the entire design, while four auspicious Buddhist symbols — including a conch shell, a lotus, and others — are symmetrically placed in the intermediate border zone. The overall composition reflects the traditional Tibetan artistic style characteristic of the Ganden Phodrang coinage. |
