| Reverse description | The central field features a detailed narrative scene inspired by Chingiz Aitmatov's novella, depicting an elderly Kyrgyz man in traditional dress and fur hat, standing with a staff beside his horse against a mountainous steppe landscape with a village in the distance. The scene rises dramatically from an open book rendered in relief in the lower field, symbolising the literary origin of the design. The fineness and weight inscription Ag 925/28,28 appears on the spine of the book at lower left. A bilingual arc legend in Kyrgyz and Russian naming the work appears along the upper rim, and the denomination 10 СОМ is inscribed in the exergue. |
