Reverse description The reverse features a large stylised numeral '5' dominating the central field, symbolising the fifth anniversary of the Eurasian Economic Union. The official emblem of the Eurasian Economic Union is positioned above the numeral. Below and around the central motif, the national flags of the five member states — Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Russia — are rendered in colour. Bilingual inscriptions in Kyrgyz and Russian encircle the design, identifying the organisation and the commemorated anniversary.

Additional information

The Eurasian Economic Union formally came into force on January 1, 2015, binding Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Armenia, and Kyrgyzstan into a single market for goods, services, capital, and labor. Kyrgyzstan was the last of the five to join, acceding in August 2015 after initial hesitation over the economic terms. This coin marks the fifth anniversary of that founding moment.

Reverse coloring on commemorative silver issues from the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan is applied by a third-party finishing process after striking, standard practice for the mint facilities contracting these runs.
