Obverse description Central field features a dynamic figure of Cahuide, the legendary Inca warrior, depicted in a heroic stance with arm raised, set against a stylized rocky or architectural background. The figure is rendered in high relief in a neoclassical style. The curved legend NAUPAJMAN TAHUANTINSUYU appears to the left and right along the periphery, with CAHUIDE inscribed in the lower central field and the engraver's name PAREJA below the figure. The word PERU appears at the base, completing the patriotic composition.
