Obverse description Right-facing laureate and draped effigy of Queen Elizabeth II after the second portrait by Arnold Machin, depicted wearing a tiara and pearl drop earrings. The truncation of the bust is visible at the lower rim. The legend 'ELIZABETH THE SECOND' is arranged around the periphery in two arcs, with beading encircling the entire design.
