| Obverse description | Central field features the Biafra Free State coat of arms, comprising a shield divided into two quarters — the upper bearing a rising sun and the lower bearing a traditional Igbo ofor symbol — supported by two leopards rampant on either side. Above the shield, a crested eagle with wings displayed perches atop an elephant tusk. A ribbon scroll below the shield bears the motto legend 'PEACE+UNITY+FREEDOM'. The arc legend 'BIAFRA FREE STATE' runs along the upper periphery, and the date '2017' appears in the lower field. |
