| Obverse description | The copper-nickel centre features the numeral '10' prominently in the upper field, with the Coat of Arms of Kenya depicted below it, comprising a shield supported by two rampant lions, with a traditional Maasai warrior's spears crossed behind the shield and a scroll at the base bearing the national motto.
