Obverse description Brown on light green underprint, framed by an intricate lacework border. The colonial arms — a crowned shield bearing a sailing ship — appear as a central vignette at the top, flanked on either side by serial number panels set within ovals. A guilloche-bordered central panel carries the denomination TEN SHILLINGS in large letterpress text, with the fractional value 10/- repeated at left and right; the issuer legend arcs above and the promise-to-pay clause, date 1st June 1924, and two manuscript signatures of the Directors of Currency appear below.
