Reverse description The reverse displays a central round hole surmounted by an Imperial chrysanthemum mon (the sixteen-petalled emblem serving as the Emperor's royal seal), rendered in fine relief. Below the hole, stylized paulownia flowers with their characteristic heart-shaped leaves are arranged symmetrically in the field. The denomination '十錢' (10 Sen) is inscribed in kanji, divided by the central hole, with '錢' above and '十' below. The entire design is framed by a plain rim.
