Reverse description Saint Leodegar, patron saint of Lucerne, depicted enthroned in full pontifical regalia, wearing an embroidered mitre. He holds his attribute — the hand drill (auger) — in one hand and a crosier in the other, his figure presented frontally in a formal, hieratic manner consistent with late 15th-century Swiss ecclesiastical coinage. The legend in Antiqua script is distributed symmetrically on either side of the enthroned figure.
