Reverse description Central field bears a draped cartouche or shield-shaped tablet inscribed with the four-line Latin motto PRO DEO ET PATRIA, below which appears the date 1811 and the denomination numeral 10 in an ornamental frame at the base. The tablet is flanked by two large, finely engraved palm or laurel branches sweeping upward symmetrically from the base, their tips meeting above the shield and surmounted by a small crown or floral finial. The overall composition is enclosed within a plain inner border, with a reeded outer rim.
