Obverse description The obverse features the Bulgarian state coat of arms prominently centered in the field, depicting a rampant lion on a horizontally lined shield, flanked by two rampant lion supporters standing atop a decorative base. The shield is surmounted by a royal crown with a cross finial, beneath which a draped mantle extends to either side. A ribbon scroll below the shield bears the Cyrillic motto СЪЕДИНЕНИЕТО ПРАВИ СИЛАТА (Unity makes strength). The legend БЪЛГАРИЯ arcs along the upper periphery in Cyrillic characters, with a fine beaded border encircling the entire design.
